Majlis speaker Ali Larijani

Terrorism Is Haram In Islam

Iranian Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani says Islam considers terrorism as “haram” (religiously prohibited), Mehr News Agency reported last week.

Larijani made the remarks in an address to a gathering of officials, instructors and students at Yerevan State University on Saterday.

Today, the issue of the fight against terrorism has turned into a show-off gesture in the world, however, “in our opinion, fighting terrorism is a necessity for a peaceful life,” Larijani stated.

He added that during the first years of the Islamic Revolution, the hegemonic powers, through their agents, assassinated the Iranian president and prime minister a number of lawmakers, and now the U.S. and the Zionist regime are pursuing the same goal in the region.

Quotes and Sayings

About the Region, Islam and cultural totalitarianism...

The Arabs foster the separate Palestinian nationalism and the myth of “restoring the rights of the Palestinian nation” within the territory of the State of Israel and in its stead, in order to destroy Israeli nationalism. The Palestinian national demand is designed to abrogate the existence of the State of Israel and not to coexist with it peacefully.
