Evidence: IHH Leader Urges Men to Throw Israelis Overboard, May 30, 2010

In this footage, taken on board the Mavi Marmari on 30May2010, IHH leader Bulent Yildirim clearly instructs his followers to throw the Israeli commandos overboard when they land on the ship. His speech was made in Turkish and repeated in Arabic by a translator.

Bülent Yildirim [Turkish]: “Dear brothers, with Allah’s help, we set sail and we are on our way. Allah has given us great resources and a great blessing. We follow in the footsteps of the martyrs, the just, and the righteous. Not everyone has the opportunity to travel on this ship. Allah has given (the opportunity) to those who wanted it the most. You shall see, we will definitely claim one of two victories for Allah, whatever the result is.”

“They are waiting for us in Palestine. If we show fear, they will win once again. We don’t want to be recorded in Allah’s book as cowards.”

Translator [Arabic]: “In two days, we may encounter some negative matters. Don’t be like the ones who turned back, and don’t turn back! Allah willing, may He be praised, we will enter Gaza and reach our brothers.”

Activists shouting: “Takbir! (Glorification of Allah)”

“Allah Akbar!”

Bülent Yildirim [Turkish]: “Those who stand against us are numerous. They (Israel) are so weak that for 4-5 days they have been engaging in propaganda (against us). They have been humiliated in front of the whole world. Now they are saying that they will launch a fleet (against us). That they will send the commandos here (to the ship). And we say: “If you send the commandos, we will throw you down from here and you will be humiliated in front of the whole world.”

Translator [Arabic]: “Israel has been making statements for 4-5 days and we thought it considered itself a state, but it’s not a state, and it’s telling us… they are telling us: “We will launch a military fleet, and the soldiers will board the ship!” If they board our ship, we will throw them into the sea, Allah willing!
