These are our comment rules!
You are welcome to leave comments and join the discussion at CrethiPlethi's blog. Our rules:
1. We welcome honest, intelligent, thoughtful and senseful comments which add to the discussion. You can criticize ideas, and you can criticize people who hold those ideas, but you cannot insult people on the basis of race, religion, national origin, or ethnicity. Avoid tu quoque (logical fallacy) and ad hominem (personal) attacks; don't insult, curse, threaten or discriminate in any way or post libelous, defamatory, abusive or hateful comments.
2. This website features articles in English and Dutch, so all comments must be written in harmony with the articles' language -- either English or Dutch. Any comments written in a language other than English or Dutch will be removed without further notice. Discussion and debate are great, that's why we don't allow single-sentence comments without any intelligent and thoughtful arguments.
3. Keep your comments and discussions on topic, which means relevant to each topic and avoid multiple topic posts. Don't include links to websites and videos not associated with the topic. Don't solicit anyone to buy or sell products or services, or to make donations of any kind.
4. CrethiPlethi reserves the right to monitor posted content, edit reader comments or remove any post at its sole discretion without your knowledge or consent. We also reserves the right to block users, who violates our comment rules, from posting reader comments. If you can't live with these rules, please don't comment. It's to our judgement whether a comment complies with the comment rules.
5. Comments posted on our site do not necessarily represent our views and in no way means that we endorse or agree with a comment or consider it accurate. Comments are the sole responsibility of the individual commenter. We accept no liability in respect of any comments. Also the fact that CrethiPlethi does not post an answer or refutation to a particular comment doesn't mean that the comment is "correct" or that we have "no response" to the comment. It simply means that we respect the freedom to post a comment or we may have felt that the comment was so obviously ignorant, paranoid, or stupid that leaving it in place was the best way to debunk the commenter.
6. By making comments you agree to these rules. In addition to these rules you also agree to our Legal Terms.
