“Peace Activists” Solidarity Meeting With Terrorists

On October 21, the Viva Palestina “Lifeline 5 humanitarian convoy” arrived in the Gaza Strip and was given festive ceremonies by senior Hamas leaders and radical Palestinian Islamic Jihad operatives.

The convoy comprised 150 vehicles and 350 participants and brought aid to the Gaza Strip valued at $5 million. Convoy activists remained in the Gaza Strip for three days and during that time showed solidarity with Hamas’ and PIJ’ terrorist activities against Israel.
Members of the convoy’s Turkish delegation, most of them affiliated with the IHH (organizer of the Gaza Freedom Flotilla which was raided by the Israeli naval forces on May 31), visited terrorists of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad and their positions. The PIJ’s website and other websites posted pictures of the Turks, joining the PIJ operatives and holding weapons, wearing black tee-shirts (with a map of all of Israel transformed into the Islamic Republic of Palestine) and decorated with PIJ headbands.

During an october 22 festive ceremony, Ismail Haniya appealed to members of the convoy for more overland, sea and air convoys, until the “siege” was broken. It’s obvious that if the so-called “peace activists” and its organizations succeed in getting rid of the sanctions on Gaza, they could bring weapons, ammunition, military goods, explosives and rocket parts to the Gaza Strip directly under the cover of “peace activist” ships. This is preciously one of the reasons why there’s a naval blockade of Gaza in the first place.

These so-called “peace activists” are not so “peaceful” after all.
