According to a Foreign Ministry press release on Sunday [may 30], Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon criticized the effort [the aid flotilla], saying anti-Semitic chants voiced by the activists on board earlier in the day showed the “real motivation” for the campaign, which he termed an “armada of hate.”

Participants on the flotilla were recorded shouting

“Khaybar Khaybar ya yahud, Jaish Muhammad saya’ud,” which means “Jews, remember Khyabar, the army of Mohammed is returning.”

This cry relates to an event in the seventh century when Muslims massacred and expelled Jews from the town of Khaybar, in modern-day Saudi Arabia.

“Israel condemns the anti-Semitic chants that were publicized this morning,” Ayalon said. “This amply demonstrates that many are not against a particular policy of the Israeli government, but have very real and dangerous hatred for Jews and the Jewish State.”

He further noted that “the main organizer of the flotilla is an extremist Islamic organization with ties to Hamas and global Jihad and it is unfortunate that there are those who are duped into thinking that this exercise has anything to do with humanitarianism or human rights.”

The organizers of the protest flotilla said the ships were set to arrive in Israeli waters on Monday. The flotilla was originally slated to arrive in Gaza on Saturday but faced several delays because of technical difficulties.

The navy is prepared to stop the ships before they reach Gaza and has put most of its forces on operational standby since Friday. The ships will receive a number of warnings as they begin to approach the Gaza Strip, starting from a distance of about 65 kilometers. If the ships are commandeered, they will be sailed to the Ashdod Port, where the government has set up tents to hold the activists.

The activists will be taken to the tents for identification and medical attention, and asked to leave the country voluntarily. If they refuse, they will be arrested and transferred to the custody of the Prisons Service and the Interior Ministry. 1

Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon also referred to the flotilla in an interview (may 29, 2010) and stated that

“This is a provocation intended to delegitimize Israel. There is no humanitarian crisis in Gaza. If the flotilla had a genuine humanitarian goal, then its organizers should have transferred something for the abducted soldier Gilad Shalit as well. Their refusal to do so clearly indicates that humanitarian issues were not their goal. We will not allow the flotilla to enter Gaza, as this is an infringement of Israel’s sovereignty. We are organizing the information background, but information considerations are secondary to security and political considerations.”

Deputy FM Ayalon referred to the boycott of Israeli products by the Palestinian Authority, and stated that

“After Israel declared its acceptance of the two-state solution, froze construction and removed roadblocks, the Palestinians are continuing their incitement against Israel. This is a rejection of mutual trust. It is impossible to talk peace on the one hand, while continuing with incitement on the other.” 2

    Citizens of the world,
This letter was not written by Israel’s Prime Minister .
This letter was not written by the Israel Defense Force spokesperson.

This letter is written by a 17 years old Israeli high school student who blames the world for forgetting its own history and for ignoring justice .
This letter was written by a girl who, as of next year, will dedicate 2 years of her own life
, to defend values dear to her , to safeguard her way of life , to protect the country she lives in , Israel .

    Dear World,
You seem to have a selective memory which makes you forget, how just 70 years ago
when my people were facing extermination , you closed your eyes, while bodies of the murdered
    flooded the streets ..
We the Jewish people had no country to protect us and millions were slaughtered. We did however raise from the ashes of our ancestors and a country of hope was erected, my country: Israel .

    Dear citizens of the World,
During the dark days mentioned above you decided to silently ignore my people’s agony…. now following the events related to the “Hate Flotilla” you suddenly decided to let the world hear your unpleasant voice ,
History seems to repeat itself , and once again you are blind .
On the “decks of Hate”, people wearing different clothes and speaking different languages, than 70 years ago have the same target – destroy my people.

As far as I’m concerned, those who want peace, come unarmed. Those who come to for humanitarian reasons, do not need knives
Those who organized the “Flotilla of Hate” belong to a terror organization and bringing relief is the least of their concerns

So please citizens of the World, open your eyes and try to see, who the real victim is in this case .

Israel is a country which is looking for peace although it has always been surrounded by hatred and darkness.

Dear world, I sincerely hope you will wake up before this sea of darkness will drawn us all ,

    A 17 year old Israeli High-School student.

Don’t forget for the first time in history factories were built to kill innocent people by people who considered themselves more worthy of life than others. Are there some people in Israel who think that they can enter Palastinian areas (according to most people in the world) and settle there because their God has deemed them more worthy to live there. They will know why people built gas chambers for innocent men, women and children who inconveniently tried to live with them.
Their views should be carefully documented and analysed in order to prevent people deeming themseles to have more right to have a part of this world than others for they are on the first rung of the ladder to building killing factories.

Quotes and Sayings

About the Region, Islam and cultural totalitarianism...

There were no such thing as Palestinians. When was there an independent Palestinian people with a Palestinian state? It was either southern Syria before the First World War, and then it was a Palestine including Jordan. It was not as though there was a Palestinian people in Palestine considering itself as a Palestinian people and we came and threw them out and took their country away from them. They did not exist.
